BITTERWELL FISHERY, BRISTOL, GLOS

The pellet waggler is still catching plenty of carp to double figures here. Cast around 20 yards out and ping 4mm pellets over the top. Use a hooklink of around 2ft to start, then shallow up if you see signs of swirling fish. Use an 8mm pellet on the band to take carp to 20lb. Contact: 07901 074158 Postcode: BS36 2UF

BURY HILL FISHERIES, DORKING, SURREY

PONDWOOD FISHERIES, WHITE WALTHAM, BERKS

The older Island Lake is

a great water for specimen anglers with big tench, carp, bream and catfish to 40lb in abundance. Mini boilies will catch all these fish but you can’t beat luncheon meat, especially when it’s fished along the marginal shelf.
