The Mexborough Estate section was used for this match and that meant bream, the top two weights both made up of slabs. A healthy 32-14-0 of fish to 4lb saw Peter Barron into top spot as he used groundbait feeder and worm tactics. Stan Haigh came second with 17-4-0 of bream and skimmers using the same approach.
