Tony Hobbs took advantage of this to win with 20-15-0. Drawn on the end peg of Folly below Osney Lock, the Drennan Oxford Yellow man used pole and maggot over chopped worm for a bream, skimmers and perch and backed it up with plenty of roach on casters.

Geoff Vallance was just 1oz off Tony with 20-14-0 from his peg at Marlboroug­h Road at Folly.
