GILLINGHAM AA SUMMER FESTIVAL (SAT-MON) Lodden Lakes & Todber Manor Fishery (58 pegs)

Scoring a perfect 30 points, Pete Neate took this threeday event from Chris Albiston on 28. Pete only won one lake across the event, doing his talking with lower weights. He took Lodden Lakes on day one with 29-0-0 of carp and bream on Method feeder and pellet. Tony Gilbert topped Hillview Lake, with 138-2-0 of carp on pellet in the margins, and Jack Stamp won Whitepost Lake with 67-8-0 of carp on bomb and pellet. Day two saw Paul Greenwood win Lodden with 26-8-0 of carp and skimmers. Kev Abigail led on Hillview with 101-9-0 of carp, and Nicky Johns won Whitepost with 82-8-0 of carp and F1s. The final day gave Gary O’Shea victory at Lodden with 40-1-0 of carp and skimmers. Jack Stamp topped Hillview with 100-5-0 of carp, and Kev Abigail took the honours on Whitepost with 86-8-0 of carp.

Two men cracked the double ton on Monday and from adjacent pegs on the Syndicate Lake. John Radford won off peg 119 with 212-0-0 of carp on pellet shallow at 14m. Kevin Wells, on peg 118, also fished pellet shallow on the pole and rod and line to take second with 203-0-0 of carp.

New UK champion Pemb Wrighting won with 230-4-0 of carp to 7lb at peg 26. He fished pellet on the deck and shallow at 14.5m to the far bank.

RODNEY POOK MEMORIAL (MON) Bowsaw & Billhook Lakes (32 pegs)

Scoring four points, Graham Shadwell and Ian Chaplin took the pairs honours from Dave Johnson and Rodney’s son Gary Pook with five points. Top individual was Daiwa Dorking man Dave Guntrip at peg 19 on Bowsaw Lake, where he fished Method feeder and pellet for carp to 8lb and a total 233-8-0.

RYE DAS LEAGUE (SUN) River Rother, Wittersham (44 pegs)

Browning SE Xitan won the league, topping this final round with 41 points from Iden Wood Fishery on 35. Their overall 243-point tally saw them well in front of Advanced Pole Repairs. Xitan also had the top two weights, Gerry Morgan winning with 38-10-0 of bream and skimmers from end peg A1. He used worm over groundbait at 14m.

Sensas M5 Angling supplied the top two – Nigel Bartlett won and Dan Squire was second. Nigel drew peg 41 and fished 6m whip and caster for 7-280 of roach. Dan, on peg 4, used maggot and caster on the pole at 12m for 6-850 of roach and small hybrids. Somerset Angling had 40 points, M5 38.

SENSAS OAKWOOD ANGLING SUMMER LEAGUE (SUN) Grand Union Canal, Ivinghoe & Slapton (60 pegs)

Second for Matrix Image on 55 points saw them hang on to the lead and take the title with 304 points from Preston Innovation­s Black Horse on 276. Sensas Oakwood Angling Green won the day with 59 points. The Slapton section produced the leading weights with Tony Cassidy, of the day’s winners, scoring on 46-4-0 of bream and skimmers. He fished chopped worm and caster at 13m.
