A tight finish was edged by Dave Harold off peg 62 with 122-8-0. The Ockendon Bait & Tackle man netted carp to 8lb plus a few skimmers fishing meat down the middle at 6m. Steve James needed one decent carp to overhaul him as he replied with 112-10-0 of carp to 8lb at peg 60 using pellet to the far bank at 14m.
