CARP WARS IS BACK!
FOLLOWING its incredible success last year, the second series of Carp Wars gets under way this month with a new line-up of star anglers. Joining last year’s competitors Ian Russell and Dave Lane are Iain MacMillan, Dave Levy, Lee Morris and eliminator winner Steven Coe.
A variety of waters across the UK will host the group stages, with French venue Etang Le Fays again playing host to the final. Our own tackle editor Marc Coulson has been along to photograph many of the matches, including the final, and says this year’s shows promise to be even better than those in the first series.
Paul Cooper of Fishing TV, the producers of Carp Wars, told Marc: “There have been some colossal battles this year, as well as a few surprises, which all bodes well for another terrific series!”
The first show airs on 30 November on Sky Sports 3 at 7.30pm and weekly thereafter, with the final due to be shown on 15 March 2018.
