FISH WITH THE BAITS THAT YOU’RE FEEDING

Autumn is the time of year where I ‘match the hatch’, to coin a popular phrase. By that I mean I fish a similar boilie on the hook to the ones I’m putting out. Earlier in the year I’m a big fan of bright, ‘stand-out’ baits that grab the carp’s attention, but as the year wears on the fish get more wary and something more subtle is often a better option.
