Dynamite and Shimanobacked star Nick Speed TACKLE: “A fairly long tip rod of around 13ft-14ft will help you cast further and deal with the winds at Worsbrough.

“Feeders are either open-end traditional or Guru Hybrid Methods, with mainline and hooklengths of around 0.18mm – robust enough to cope with the carp. I use size 14 hooks.” BAIT: “For my groundbait feeder line I use Swim Stim fishmeal groundbait with brown crumb, small pellets, chopped worm and micro pellets.

“For the Method it’s softened Swim Stim 1mm pellets. With both I use either a small boilie or double maggot hookbait.” TACTICS: “The traditional feeder line will pick you up most fish that swim in Worsbrough, including the odd carp.

“This one can be fished a little shorter, while the Method or bomb is great for carp only, and this is the one I fish as far out as comfortably possible. Keep recasting both regularly.”
