Kyle’s on a roll with personal best barbel

KYLE Binns is having a great year, and his latest angling feat is the capture of another personal best in the shape of this 12lb 8oz barbel. The 13-year-old banked his biggest-ever bream in the summer and followed it up with this whiskers during a session with his dad on a tidal stretch of the River Trent. He fished a dumbell-shaped boilie over a bed of hemp, pellets and broken boilies. A simple running rig did the trick, and the fish was beaten on 12lb line and a size 10 hook.
