Curtis tops qualifier with a 15lb net of skimmers

ONE of the final three qualifiers of the campaign saw three men make it through at the last minute, match winner John Curtis being one of them.
The Daiwa Gordon League angler drew peg 36 at Myton Fields and fished groundbait feeder and maggot or worm to net 15-14-0 of skimmers.
Second from the same zone was Andy Power with 11-2-0 of small fish on the long pole and waggler with maggot at peg 27. Joining John in the final are other zone winners Simon Fry and Matt Derry.
