THE five lakes on this complex offer something for all anglers and are fishing their heads off.

The truly in-form water is the Specimen Lake, where anglers are experiencing hectic carp sport, bagging several fish over 30lb. Legered boilies seem to be the leading method, and the Ronnie rig with small pop-ups is proving deadly. Feed sparingly, fishing for one bite at a time.

For pleasure and match fishing, head to the Canal, Match and Pleasure Lakes, which have recently been stocked with small carp of around 2lb. There are also plenty of silvers, bream, and tench. Target these with pole tactics, maggots or chopped worm over groundbait.

The complex is renowned for its monster perch, which in Canal Lake run to over 5lb. Try specimen-style fishing with prawns or lobworms for the best chance of success.

There is also the Big Pit, which holds carp, bream, perch, and large tench. Feeder tactics score well here, targeting one of the many islands.
