THIS Easter two-day event was topped by Guru venue regular Steve Parry, who amassed 141-2-0 over the weekend to finish comfortably ahead of Andy Bennett on 117-7-0.

Steve won day one with 114-10-0 of F1s and carp, fishing pellet across at 14m from peg 151 on Canal 6, and a poor day two still gave him enough to win at the final count-up.

Day two was topped by Chris Weeder Senior with 54-15-0 off peg 73 on Canal 3. He, too, fished pellet across and maggot down the middle for a net of F1s.
