‘CHUFFED’ AT LANDING BIGMIRRORA SECOND TIME

-

IAN Allan caught this 40-pounder twice in two weeks.

The big mirror weighed in at 47lb first time around (pictured) before coming out a fortnight later at 40lb 4oz after spawning.

“It’s a new personal best and a lake record, so I’m pretty chuffed,” said Ian, who was fishing a West Norfolk club water.

The first capture came on a 12mm CC Moore Dairy Supreme pop-up over half a kilo of Live System boilies.

Ian added: “I was back down the lakes again this weekend and ended up catching her again! She was much lower in weight this time at 40lb 4oz – fully spawned out, I guess.”

This time around, the mirror took a Pacific Tuna wafter on an IQ D rig over 2kg of matching freebies.
