RIVER NIDD, COWTHORPE, W YORKS
This popular section of river is controlled by one of the oldest and largest angling clubs in Britain, The Bradford No1 Angling
Association. This stretch in particular can provide the angler with great variety both in terms of the spots they can fish and the species they can target. The oxygenated weir pool and fast rapids are home to big chub and barbel, while the deeper glides are holding areas for some beautiful roach, bream and dace. Bonus carp have given anglers a proper surprise on occasions. Maggots, casters and hemp fished in a blockend feeder with a long hooklength will create interest from most species.
