on the week’s news
FOR years I’ve fished the prolific Collingham Weir on the Trent and caught more double-figure barbel than I can count, but it seems Gunthorpe (October 2 issue) is producing a similar stamp of fish now – and lots of them.
I find myself twiddling my thumbs, just waiting for the next barbel record to fall.
I’m sure it will come from the Trent. In 10 years’ time every popular peg on the Trent will be filled with double-figure fish! Bob Haskins, Newark
