FRENCH SIXTY BANKED FOR TV CAMERAS
ADAM Wall was taking part in the Forces Carp Classic at Abbey Lakes in France when he banked this massive mirror weighing 63lb 8oz.
After two nights of motionless bobbins, Adam spent a day with the marker rod trying to find a hard spot, which he eventually did at 80yds range, before depositing half a bucket of chopped Dynamite Baits The Source and Tiger Nut Red Amo boilies, plus hemp, over the top.
He then cast solid PVA bags containing inline drop-off set-ups to the area, and at five past midnight one of his rods ripped off.
Adam told Carpfeed: “The fish is one of the complex’s biggest, and took around 40 minutes to land. My heart was in my mouth during the whole fight because the competition was being filmed by Rob Hughes and BT Sport!”
