SHOW GETS BIGGER!

THE UK’S largest fishing show – The Big One – is set to be even bigger in 2019 with a huge second hall packed with new tackle and a host of new visitor entertainment facilities at the Farnborough location. And in a double delight for the nation’s carpers, there will a second Big One show in 2019 as organisers launch a new Midlands event at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.

Over 3,000m2 of covered exhibition space has been added to the Farnborough event over the weekend of March 23/24 to accommodate more major exhibitors, tackle brands and retailers. The event will also showcase a new Super Demo Theatre and an indoor fishing lake to ensure visitors can get first-hand advice from Britain’s top anglers, and meet some amazing celebrity guests too.

Big One show director, Vince Davies said: “The new lake area and theatre is certainly going to be a hit, and will be used for coaching sessions, tackle demonstrations and the use of bait boat tests.”

Vince also believes that Midlands-based anglers have been missing out on big events in their area and has worked hard to create and launch The Big One Stoneleigh over the weekend of April 13/14. “This show will reach out to a large part of the country who perhaps couldn’t have made the previous Farnborough shows.”
