THIS month’s top prize goes to Ash Geden for his haul of huge Thames carp, topped by a 44lb 14oz linear.
Having banked a 42lb 10oz mirror in September, in October Ash then took this mindblowing 44lb 14oz linear as part of a monster hit that included a 35lb 10oz mirror (inset), as well as a 23lb 12oz mirror and a 28lb 12oz ghost common. All the fish fell to Dynamite Baits Complex-T Fluro pop-ups, presented over a heavily baited area.
The sheer scale and beauty of Ash’s brace of big carp is simply staggering!
Chris Eaglestone banked this 48lb 2oz mirror known as George’s from the Essex Manor. He used a Slip-D rig sporting a Nash Scopex Squid boilie.
Galvin Reynolds landed this 49lb 12oz common from an Essex club lake. He used a Mainline Essential Cell pop-up, on a hinged stiff rig.
A Krill pop-up accounted for this 41lb 2oz cracker known as Woodcarving for Ben Hutt. He fished to a clear patch next to a weedbed.
Gareth Hughes landed this 58lb 12oz chunk from Grenville Lake, Cambs. He used a Dynamite Baits Red Amo Fluro corkball pop-up.
This 48lb 8oz cracker was banked by Dan Adams from Horton Church Lake, Berks. He used a stiff hinge rig baited with a Sticky Krill pop-up.
This 51lb 8oz common was caught by Hannah Kingston from Birch, at Old Mill Lakes in Lincolnshire. It fell to a Sticky Krill wafter hookbait.
