Unlike many margin poles that can sacrifice stiffness and balance for power, the Response maintains all these qualities and is the highest-spec margin pole that Preston Innovations has made so far.
The same top-quality carbons that are used in the construction of the XS pole range come into play here too.
There’s plenty of reinforcement in all the right places to lock in the strength and give you total confidence when playing big fish, but the overall weight is incredibly low, so you can fish with the pole at the full 8.5m for hours on end.
Top kits are interchangeable with each new XS pole, which gives you more elastication choices and the option of using the Response Margin as a conventional pole for fishing into open water for big fish as well as down the edge.
Each power kit measures 2.4m and is rated to a No20 elastic, arriving pre-bushed with premium Preston Innovations Internal PTFE bushes as well as the company’s popular and innovative Roller Pulla bushes as part of the side puller system. There are three kits supplied, all packaged into a smart holdall with protective tubes.
