WILLOWS LAKE BREAM STILL ON THE FEED

Both carp and silvers prove it’s worth getting out on the bank

THE bream are still feeding at Hertfordshire’s Willows Lake and Brunswick Bros AC’s Matt Cole took full advantage with a winning 60-0-0 in his club’s recent contest.

Another cracking bream haul was the 40-4-0 taken by Kev Smith (Hull AC AC) from Newbridge Lake, while Ado Torlini and Billy McKinney included plenty of roach with their silverfish bags of 36-13-0 and 21-4-0 respectively.

Over on commercials, Kent’s prolific Orchard Place farm produced three of the top 10 catches this week, headed up with 149-0-0 of F1s and carp on maggot by Earslfield DAS regular Tony Lock.
