CHUB ON THE KENNET
I don’t pleasure fish nearly enough, as my time is often limited by work commitments and competitions – but when I do, I love going fishing with Angling Trust campaigns co-coordinator Martin Salter.
One such day back in February was intended to be on the Thames, but it had risen too much after heavy rain so we ended up on the Kennet, where we caught quality chub on float gear. It’s a river I’ve come to love, and if Martin reads this, please can we go back there and catch some big grayling?
