Wye Pairs Champs
After a disappointing end to 2017, the Wye has come back big time this year and catches are better than they have ever been. Big roach have been a feature of this winter so far, but where were they last year? No one has the answer to that.
My latest two matches in the newly-formed Pairs Championship saw me weigh in 33lb of roach and 41lb of mostly roach, respectively.
Team mate Ian Ward and I had 141lb to finish second behind local stars Dave Roberts and Deron Harper, who had 159lb. Fantastic fishing and a great end to 2018... roll on next year!
