Trent barbel

-

If there is one river that is head and shoulders above all others for barbel at the moment it has to be the Trent, and a overnight trip back in the summer showed just how good the river can be. Using home-made boilies the bites came thick and fast as the shoals of fish homed in on my pastewrapped hookbaits. That night I upped my Trent best to over 14lb, with several more doubles all falling for my boilie traps.
