HERE’S what 92lb 2oz of common looks like. The colossal fish, known as Scar, was caught at the famous Rainbow Lake in southern France.

It is thought to be the biggest resident of the snaggy, islandstrewn water, also known as Lac de Curton, and was banked by Dominik van den Eijkhof, who was fishing alongside fellow Dutchman Frank Wijnands.

The common weighed 41.8kg, which converts to just over 92lb 2oz. It took a snowman rig made with a 20mm Dynamite Complex-T bottom bait and a 15mm Complex-T Fluoro pop-up.
