LET’S GET OUT THERE FISHING!

I WAS dismayed to read a report that the angling trade was suffering badly due to the long, wet winter. I’m going to make a plea to all anglers to get back out there fishing so we can support our local tackle shops.

So, the river is spilling over the banks and the ground is saturated, but don’t turn your back on your sport and sit in front of the telly with the fishing bug gnawing at your insides.

Why not try a commercial runs water for a neglected specimen roach or perch?
