MY DREAM MATES

WE’VE all heard about dream dinner guests, but I’ve compiled my ultimate list for a fishing social session. First up would be author of The Compleat Angler, Izaak Walton. I’d love to watch him try to wrap his 17th Century mind around fluoro baits, carbon rods and freespool reels.

Obviously, John Wilson would be a shoe-in. He’s the reason a lot of us got into fishing. Finally, I’d take along Bob Nudd. There’s not much he doesn’t know about catching fish.
