It was all good fun!

DESPITE the look on her face, 10-year-old Cecily Gower loved her first fishing trip with mum Hannah and grandad Dan, where she had this 2lb perch from Weir Wood Reservoir in Sussex.

“She caught it about 10 minutes after we started and was absolutely thrilled,” says Hannah. “She was very reluctant to hold it though, because it had been wriggling a lot and she didn’t know what it was going to feel like.

“Although she looked like she was going to cry, the only tears were of laughter on my part!”
