Do I need to be fishing small or large boilies for carp?

AFrank Morrison, Cheadle There are two schools of thought – one saying to fish a single, large, highly visual bait while the other reckons small is best if fished among a PVA bag of goodies. Both will work so if I’m going down the single bait route, I want to make the boilie really stand out. That means a 16mm yellow bait such as the Sticky Signature. With bags, I scale down to a 12mm boilie, with the Peach and Pepper a great choice. Scott Lloyd
