“Instant bites indicate a large ball of fish in front of me and no loosefeed will be required. When bites aren’t instant, I chuck to the left or right of my initial spot. If that fails, I try a small Method feeder packed with micro pellets.

“It’s important to constantly feed around 10 maggots every few minutes by hand. I’ll start fishing this area late in the day and then hopefully put some quality carp and F1s

in the net.”
