COMPETITION Win a Daiwa Matchwinner pole

PLUS a full set of Hydrolastic and Hybridlastic elastics

-

OUR tackle editor Mark Sawyer reckons there’s nothing you can’t do with Daiwa’s fabulous new Matchwinner MW3 pole.

Part of a five-pole range designed and built in Daiwa’s UK facilities, the MW3 will be the go-to pole for stillwater, canal, river, match and pleasure anglers looking for a high-quality package at a great price.

Daiwa describes the range as its ‘best yet’ and the MW3 is equally as capable of speed fishing for a net of roach as it is plundering bream on stillwaters and bagging up on carp on your local commercial. The Matchwinner name is legendary in fishing, and for its latest range of poles Daiwa wanted to make sure they were the better than anything which had previously carried the name.

It was a big ask, but with a move to previously unavailable carbon cloths and construction processes, plus the addition of tech goodies only previously found on flagship models, the 2021 range has achieved it.

Mark explains: “Super Multi Strand carbons make them extremely responsive and easy to fish at long lengths, while supersmooth Bias V-Joints help the sections fit together cleanly.

“What will appeal to anglers is the impressive spares package – a Match kit, plus four Interlastic, side-puller Power kits, preprepared with the highest quality PTFE bushes and nose cones. You also get a mini extension, a cupping kit and a pole holdall.”

Also included in the prize package for one lucky reader is a set of Daiwa’s market-leading Hydrolastic, plus the full range of Hybridlastic pole elastics.
