Craobh Haven does the dou­ble at Scot­tish Hospi­tal­ity Awards 2018

Craobh Haven has won two awards at the 2018 Scot­tish Hospi­tal­ity Awards.

Pop­u­lar restau­rant Lord of the Isles won Ca­sual Restau­rant Din­ing of the Year for cen­tral re­gion, with restau­rant man­ager Siobhan Macmil­lan tak­ing home the award for Best Restau­rant Man­ager ahead of city op­po­si­tion.

Lord of the Isles staff were pre­sented with their awards dur­ing a black tie event hosted by STV ra­dio pre­sen­ter Zara Jan­jua.

Ir­fan You­nis, chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of spon­sor Cre­ative Oceanic, said: ‘We are hon­oured that our aim to re­ward some of the top con­tenders in the Scot­tish hospi­tal­ity in­dus­try has been suc­cess­fully met.

‘We con­grat­u­late all the fi­nal­ists and win­ners for their achieve­ments.’

Wil Craig of the Lord of the Isles said: ‘We are re­ally try­ing to put Craobh Haven and Argyll hospi­tal­ity on the map to en­cour­age tourism to our area and let peo­ple know that only a short dis­tance away from the big cities there are fab­u­lous places to eat, drink and stay.’
