Invaluable volunteers

Argyllshire Advertiser - - YOUR VIEWS -

Sir, As we celebrate Volunteers’ Week, I’d like to recognise the invaluable contribution of volunteers.

It is estimated as many as 15.2 million people volunteer at least once a month in the UK?

I work for Revitalise – a national charity that provides respite holidays for disabled people and carers. We are also proud to run the largest residential volunteering programme of any UK charity, welcoming thousands of volunteers every year from all over the world.

Our volunteers work incredibly hard to help us to provide our guests with memorable holiday experiences and it is thanks to their vibrancy that we can create the unique holiday atmosphere so many of our guests have come to know and love. We are thankful for the support of our volunteers and are proud to offer inspirational opportunities all year round.

Stephanie Stone, London.
