Kieran makes senior debut for Spiders
Despite last weekend’s defeat for Red Star, there was reason for Lochgilphead to cheer as young Kieran Moore made his Queen’s Park debut last Saturday October 6 in their home victory over local rivals Clyde at Hampden Park.
After impressing with his performances in the reserve side, which included a goal in last week’s win over Berwick Rangers, manager Mark Roberts put Moore on after 75 minutes of the match which Queen’s won 1-0.
It has been a quick learning curve for Kieran as he has gone from playing amateur football with Red Star a few months ago to playing at senior level and he will be looking to continue his progression in the coming months.
Red Star and their associated youth sides wish Kieran well and look forward to hearing more positive news as the season continues.
Kieran Moore comes on for Queen’s Park as a second half substitute against Clyde last Saturday.
