A legend of a night

-

Sir, What a night of MOJO! I would like to thank a number of people. To start off, thanks to Craignish Village Hall, Ardfern, for letting us host the event again this year; to Tiziana for her help, and to John Saich, and Joe McAlinden for supporting MOJO by having their informative and inspiring music workshop available and useful for all.

Thanks to all our ticket outlets – Argyll Book Centre, Oban Music and Books, Marmalade Deli Ltd and Ardfern Village Store.

Thanks to Rebecca at Ardfern Stores, especially, for the order, supply, storage, transport – and her shift at selling – the booze.

Thanks to all the volunteers for the attentive bar work, car parking duties, cleaning, door work and many other tasks: Julie, Tristan, Lindsay, Rebecca, Andre, Matt C, Brian, Linda and Duncan.

And extra thanks to Brian with his interesting and entertaining MOJO Facebook work throughout. Thanks to Matt Walsh and his team for their smooth, decisive and fantastic control of sound, lighting and effects throughout the event.

Also, a huge thank you to all our magic MOJO musicians who showcased their talent by entertaining us with their fresh, live, local and original music to ours and the audience’s delight: Liam Somerville, The Brambelles, Stephen Skinn (and support), Hollow Mountain String Band, Citizen 9 and 4Below.

How they all played indeed. An absolute legend of a night. We all wish them luck and

hope to hear more from them in the future. Your support and encouragement is always appreciated.

Finally, thanks to all you good people who came along to MOJO to enjoy the experience. What a great audience and such a large turnout. Rock on ... until next time. Dan and the team, MOJO.
