Rotary’s Christmas event goes like a fair
It’s a busy time of year for him, but Santa Claus found time to spend a few hours in Lochgilphead to say hello-ho-ho.
A long queue of excited children, and adults filled with festive cheer, waited for an audience with Santa at his Lochgilphead Grotto on Saturday December 1.
Mid Argyll Rotary members were joined at their Christmas fair in Lochgilphead Parish Church Hall by 19th Argyll Scouts and their helpers, who provided tea, coffee and home baking. The annual Mid Argyll Rotary Christmas raffle was drawn, with the proceeds going to good causes throughout the area.
