Senior citizens enjoy festive lunch

Argyllshire Advertiser - - LEISURE -

There was a special Christmas edition of the Senior Citizens’ Wednesday Club in Inveraray on Wednesday December 12.

The club was joined by Julie Ann Mather from the Christmas Dove, who did some crafts with the group and together with the club members made a Christmas tree. The winning tree was made by Jenny Spiers.

A particularly special guest also visited the club with the reindeer parked outside, and handed everyone present a goodie bag kindly donated by the Co-op in Inveraray.

But the fun wasn’t over when he left to deliver presents, and on Sunday December 16 the senior citizens committee held its annual Christmas lunch for Inveraray pensioners in the Inveraray Inn.

Music was supplied by Iain Macaskill who entertained the group with a few tunes on the accordion.

A presentation was also made to Norina Coupar for all her hard work during her time with the committee.

Everyone had fun at the annual Christmas lunch.

Santa gave out presents to the senior citizens.
