Boarding for girls and boys from age 10 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Like any family, values lie at the heart of who we are, and we help the boys and girls who live in our Boarding Houses to live up to these values in all that they do. Our separate but adjacent boarding houses, Dean Park House for boys and Erskine House for girls, each accommodate up to 30 boarders and boast modern facilities. Their size means that boarding is like being part of an extended family, and children forge deep and lasting friendships. Living just a short walk from the West End of Edinburgh’s historic center, boarders enjoy regular fieldtrips within the city as well as further afield across Scotland. ESMS offers more than 300 clubs and societies as well as unrivalled opportunities in sport, music and drama, outdoor education, trips and community involvement, all with the intention of helping your child discover their talents, explore something new, have fun and make new friends. Rated ‘Excellent’ in all categories assessed in our most recent Care Inspectorate Report, each child receives a high level of care and individual attention in the Houses.
