You’re a mean one, Mr Grinch
A ‘burglary’ occurred on the night of December 16 when a figure entered Campbeltown Picture House and attempted to steal all the toys and decorations in the building.
The figure, soon identified as The Grinch, was dressed as Santa Claus and confessed to the theft with the motive to ‘steal Christmas’.
The Grinch was apprehended by Campbeltown’s finest at Police Scotland and was punished with hours of carol singing to perhaps get that tiny shrivelled heart to grow a few sizes.
