Who deserves a rural award?

-

Time is getting short to nominate your local hero for a special award.

The Scottish Rural Awards recognise excellence in Scotland’s countryside – a celebration of the enterprise, innovation, dedication and community spirit of those who live in rural Scotland, including Argyll.

Now in its sixth year, the Scottish Rural Awards is partnered by Scottish Field and the Scottish Countryside Alliance, in association with the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland.

Plenty of Argyll nominations are being sought ahead of the glittering awards ceremony, to be held in Glasgow on April 2 next year.

Businesses can nominate themselves, and are welcome to enter more than one category. People can also nominate a friend or family member’s business. The deadline for nominations is November 4.
