Theft of logs
Four bags of logs were stolen from a house in Manse Brae, Lochgilphead, sometime between noon on Saturday October 3 and noon on Monday October 5. Police are investigating and are appealing for any witness or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
Abusive behaviour
A man, aged 73, was charged and issued with a recorded police warning after behaving in an abusive manner around 8am on Wednesday October 7 in Ardfern.
Possession of cannabis
A 29-year-old man has been charged with being in possession of cannabis after being stopped and searched by police near Portsonachan at 6.30pm on Friday October 9. A report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
No vehicle insurance
A man, aged 60, was issued with a £300 fine and six penalty points after a routine police check at 8.30pm on Friday October 9 on the A83 at Ardrishaig revealed there was no insurance for the vehicle.
No MOT for vehicle
A vehicle was stopped by police on the A816 near Lochgilphead around 6pm on Saturday October 10.
Checks revealed the vehicle’s MOT had expired.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, was issued with a £100 fixed penalty.
