Our unique approach to learning has seen us pioneer the use of digital and online technologies for over 20 years, so you can be confident we know how to make it work. We draw on award-winning expertise to deliver courses using a blended approach to teaching. This combines virtual classrooms, real time support from lecturers and support staff, and some face-to-face teaching for learners across Argyll and Bute, and beyond.
We understand that everyone’s situation is different and that remote learning can sometimes be difficult. That is why most of our courses are generally a mix of scheduled connected learning and flexible learning time. You’ll need to commit to both, but you can choose when to complete flexible learning to fit around work, caring and personal commitments. No matter where you’re based, we’ll be right beside you every step of the way to offer help and support when you need it. Our friendly local support staff, based in each of our nine centres, are never too far away and can advise you on most of your day-to-day questions. If you need more specialist help they will also be able to direct or refer you to the most appropriate service. Our dedicated Student Support team are also on hand to help deal with a wide range of things important to your student life – including funding advice, additional support for learning, alternative assessment arrangements, mental health support and other issues that may affect your college experience. As well as a large selection of further and higher education courses, we also offer an array of National 5s and Highers. So if you missed out at school, we can help you get back on track.
