Heifers sold to 430p/kg for 2 Whitbred Shorthorn Crosses from P Sinclair, Resipole. In the breeding section, in-calf heifers sold to £2650 twice for SimX from Donald MacColl, Mid Farm, while in-calf cows sold to £1800 for BSx from G MacCormick, Annat. A smaller catalogue for numbers, however a stronger show of cattle sold to a strong ringside of buyers from as far afield as Wales and Northern Ireland in attendance, with the breediest of heifer calves and in-calf heifers in particularly high demand.
