Winter warmer shows for all

-

West Kintyre Promotions CIC is delighted to have the perfect winter pick-me-up shows this November across Mid Argyll and Kintyre.

On Friday November 25 the legendary Eddi Reader and her band bring her 40 Years Live tour to Tarbert Hall.

Selling out across the country this is an opportunity not to be missed in the intimate setting of Tarbert Hall. There are still some limited tickets available for the show from Clachan Filling Station.

A spokesperson for WKP said: ‘Eddi is a classic singer-songwriter but is also an incredible storyteller.

‘Every show is different and we have been privileged to have her in Tarbert before. Backed by an outstanding band, this will be the perfect winter warmer show.’

Support will be from Voices of Argyll choir which is based in Dunoon but features members from all over Argyll.

On the same night in Ardrishaig, five-star children's theatre group The McDougalls will be back with their Festive Magic Castle Show, which continues on to Campbeltown the next day.

Kicking off at 4.30pm in Ardrishaig, it is the perfect after-school, end-of-the-week treat for the wee ones. And with a 1pm start time in Campbeltown, it's a great excuse to take the wee ones to a show and make a start on some Christmas shopping.

Auntie Aggie said: ‘We are so excited to be coming back to Ardrishaig and Campbeltown after our sell-out shows in the summer.

‘We always get a warm welcome from all our friends there and we can’t wait to meet you all again after the shows.’

McDougalls tickets are available from Ardrishaig Hall, Keeping It Local, Main Street, Campbeltown and at skiddle. com.
