Bullocks sold to £1310 for a LimX from JJ & CSA MacDonald, 103 Carnan to average £791.89 (+£23.78) per head while heifers sold to £1250 for a LimX from the same home to average £700.15 (+£60.36). Bullocks sold to 320p/kg for a LimX from Macsweens Dunganichy, 6 Dunganichy, to average 247.53p/kg (+14.8p) and heifers sold to 324p/kg for SimX from R A Wilson, 93/96 Bualadubh to average 234.55p/kg (+15.27p). In calf Cows sold to £1750 for a BSx from S J Macrury, 4 Caltanish and Farrow cows sold to £1680 from A C Macmillan, 1 Milton.
A good offering of quality calves sold well and to large and active ringside of buyers, resulting in vendors returning home in a jubilant mood having received values for their stock above their expectations.
