The goal came following a lightning-quick break forward as Roddy Macdonald’s ball was played on by Roan MacVicar and Scott Macdonald scoring from wide on the left to make it 2-2.

Skye regained the lead on 53 minutes when Dan MacDonald found the corner of the net with a great turn and shot, low to the keeper’s left to make it 3-2.

Kyles player/coach Roddy Macdonald said: “That was frustrating, but we can’t defend like that - and we missed chances too - and expect to win. However, five of our six league games this season have been away from Tighnabruaich so we’re now due a good run of home fixtures.”

Women’s Camanachd Association

Mowi National Division Aberdour 4 Dunadd 2

Aberdour hosted Dunadd at Silversands. Dunadd was again without some key players and no subs for a second week, and it was ultimately the deciding factor in the way the game went. A very even first half saw Dunadd take the lead with two longrange efforts from Eilidh Cameron and Grace Drummond.

However, Aberdour were able to answer both goals with their own efforts.

In the second half, Aberdour managed to get two more goals. Dunadd struggled with the lack of subs, the absence of some big name players, and also playing several players out of position.
