a month of exhibitions alongside art and sculpture-based activities at the Watts Gallery, Artists’ Village. This unique Arts & Crafts gem, near Guildford in Surrey, displays Victorian paintings and sculpture by GF Watts, and a current exhibition, A Fragmented Legacy, gives a unique insight into his creative studio practice. While you’re there you can also take a tour of Limnerslease, home to George and Mary Watts. During August it’s possible to visit the Make Space area to get stuck in and try different techniques in artist-led workshops – perfect for keeping small hands occupied during the summer holidays.
