WORK ON THE SHADOWS

Trace and transfer the refined drawing to watercolour paper using Tracedown. The harmonic shadows mix of Hansa Yellow Light + Quinacridone Pink + Phthalo Blue Red Shade is used at three different dilutions creating three different strengths. Paint in the shadows before the colour washes, making sure the light source is consistent over all the parts of the subject.
