THEN DO A CORAL SECOND WASH

The second wet-in-wet wash is pure Quinacridone Coral. This is a strong colour and also a peculiar pigment that behaves in a unique way: applied thinly and highly diluted it has a definite pink bias but applied more thickly with less water the bias shifts towards orange, turning the pink a coral hue. This is a very useful quality for this sweet pea.
