5 SUBTLE COLOUR

The more times you repeat the previous stages, the more refined your image becomes. I am deliberately trying to keep the washes loose, so I continue to use a larger brush. I quite like a size 5 or 6 but we all adapt to our own preference. It’s best to let every step dry thoroughly to avoid colours bleeding into each other. This will also give me some lovely hard watercolour lines that define the medium so well.
