THE LINDISFARNE GOSPELS

This exhibition will celebrate the most spectacular surviving manuscript from early medieval Britain. It will also feature new work by Turner-Prizewinning artist Jeremy Deller. This will be the rst time the venerated book, on loan from the British Library, has been displayed in the city since 2000. The exhibition will be across three galleries featuring an immersive digital experience, a showcase of the Gospels themselves and a display of how art and spirituality have developed in the centuries since.
